Some of my favorites were Amok Time, Mirror Mirror, I Mudd, and The Trouble With Tribbles.

I, Mudd also very good ("Now live us alone" , "Why!?" , "Cause we don't like you" Cheesy )

Opposite direction: Mirror then Tribbles. These two are my all time TOS favorites followed by the Gallileo 7 episode from the first season.
