According to this article we'll get three more years of terrorists trying to blow up LA!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "24" star Kiefer Sutherland has inked a multifaceted deal with 20th Century Fox Television.

The rich pact, which is set to begin in June, calls for the actor to continue on the hit Fox drama for three more years and includes a two-year development deal for Sutherland's soon-to-be-launched production banner.

Details on the deal were sketchy, but sources pegged the acting portion alone at more than $40 million for the three seasons, which could make Sutherland the highest-paid actor in drama series.

It is very good to see. Sutherland was talking in an interview sometime in the last year or so, about the fact he knows the Bauer character will eventually have to be killed off. And that he would be very sad to see his character go. I suppose we can all smile for a while longer.

Cool, 3 more Seasons. Grin

I also heard a rumor that Keifer Sutherland was leaving the next Season but i hope its not true, otherwise my Mom wont watch the show no more. ::)

Its a shame in Season 5 that so many good Characters got killed off, i'll miss them. Sad

Did you know Donald Sutherland is Keifer Sutherland's Son, i wonder if he made a Geust appearence in the Programme. :)

Wasent there a rumor once about a Movie of 24 ???

Yeay!! 3 more years of watching '24' episodes and I just hope that if they decide to kill off Bauer's character, somebody who is equally good or better will step up and lead the series!

if Sutherland gets killed off.. the show will die also..

if he's going to die in the show... as he has said since the beginning he thinks should happen.. NO one will b able 2 take his place.. and I'm sure the producers know that.... which is why he got his recent deal.
