that island is crazy and there are alot of crazy theories out there ,,just wanna see what people think

pretty hard to figure what is going on when some TV writers create such an impossilby improbable world.

Polar bears, which never came back & can't live in the tropics

wild hogs, which kind of just went away (in real life never.. they'd be eating the garden long ago)

black smoke monsters with lightning that also kind of went away after dragging John a couple 100 meters.

a whole bunch of bunkers, but only one transmitter on the island

and it don't transmit what it should. for 16 yrs of FR ladies transmissions.

and parachute drops of food, but no replacements.. a heck of a lawsuit against some mega-corp ..LOL

antique computers which never break down,, (in the tropics.where computers normally last about 2 weeks.)

light bulbs that have lasted forever

a baby hosptal .. just waiting & ready in case someone comes to the island pregnant... every 16 yrs.

Guns that sawyer hid in the jungle.. which would rust out in days there

but if they don't pick up the pace this next season, they're going to burn people out on the constant mysteries with never any solutions. Sloww is not a word big enough for how slow they progress this show.

That's a misconception. We've a P3 PC which is outside on the veranda of the 1st floor. It is brought back inside only when there are cyclones. It is covered everynight with hard plastic stuff like the one used for covering cars. - 7 months now since it was out and till now NO BREAKDOWN - just minor inconveniences when it comes to bugs - but there are anti-bug stuff in the form of powder!

wow.. amazing.. that yer systems can run there like that.

I sold some computers to a rich computer programmer who moved to a small island and with the bad electricity, the humity, the salt air,, his system died often. very often.

and he was very hardware savey, b4 moving to the island he ran his systems without problems.

maybe it was the bad electricity doing the dirty deed & not the humidity..

of course.. in Lost yer talking about computers from the early 1980's and thats a pretty old system to be still working anywhere, much less buried inside a mountain LOL>

in any event, I think the numbers have to do with I Ching hexagrams.

The producer / boss or whatever he is did an interview on the web & said 23 is the important number.

and hexagram 23 has to do with breakup and so on.

THus the black rock pirate ship got there when the island rose up out of the sea
and at the end of this series, the island will break up and disappear back into the sea.

some of the other hexagrams have to do with "bad people" being in positions of power and the right thing to do is "nothing" becuse any move against them will result in disaster & death.

I still have to study the other hexagrams.

the I Ching trigrams that make up the Dharma logo are the exact same arrangement of trigrams on the pre-1883 Korean flag.

I think some of the mysteries in the island are never going to be solved, keeping us fans wanting. I used to think how the season finale would be when everyone got rescued or something but now i can't imagine how the ending will be...
