LOL  That would work for most things!!  Cheesy

It's dangerous to self diagnose.  I rely on my very wonderful free health care & call & make an appointment with my doctor.  I'm fairly well versed in medical knowledge because I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac.  LOL  I like sites like that solely to get more info after my doc has told me what she thinks it is.  It helps to know what types of meds and techniques are used to treat it.   Often I find I don't think of the things I should ask until after I've left the office.  We also have a toll-free number that is government sponsored that hooks you up to a registered nurse.  That helps to determine if you should go to a doctor & also is good for asking those pesky questions like: is it okay to have anal sex with that hemorrhoid?  Cheesy  No, I've never asked that...then again I've never had one.  LOL

Sex.  That works the best.  Relaxes the body so thoroughly that you don't have the headache anymore.  :)  Mind you the only organ that is removed is the hubby's after I'm done with it. Wink

Oh Neo, obviously you are one lucky guy...or your lady isn't good at forcing you to go!!  Cheesy  I tell you, I never met a guy that went willingly to the doctor's.  Then they go after they marry, but only to shut the old lady up!!  Cheesy  Yup, my hubby knows what makes for peace in our house: him going to the doc & staying healthy so he can outlive me.  :)

well do-it-yourself surgery is a tad dangerous, IMO.

Valhyrie - That is so true... I have full coverage and haven't been in 5 years. lol Unless something bugs me for months, I won't go. Hope I don't get appendicitis or I'll die before I ever make into the hospital Sad

Well, Tbear, hon I have to tell you a tale of a man who went to the doctor without prompting from anyone.  He was feeling some indigestion & decided to go to the hospital.  I have no idea why, but I do know his wife wasn't around at that moment.  He got there and very quickly they discovered it was a heart attack.  He was taken care of immediately & survived.  He's not very old, late 50's.  He's in pretty good shape, so I'm sure that's why it wasn't that severe a heart attack.  He is the dad of one of the guys I work with.

TBH, we women all were amazed not by the fact he survived, but that he went to the hospital in the first place.  I could see a guy going in if he had crushing chest pain or numbness (tho most guys would think that was muscle strain).   But indigestion?  That was amazing.

BTW he isn't a hypochondriac either.  :)
