Prison Break to change name next season

Why, you may ask? Well, the entire plot of the show is going to change next year, and a new title will be used to reflect the change.

Many of you already know (or can guess) what happens in the show to cause a name change, but I'll wait til after the jump to disclose it.

Eight guys escape from jail, so creator and executive producer Paul Sheuring says we shouldn't be surprised if the new title become Prison Break:, with another one or two after the colon.

If it does change, I hope it is "The Futigives" or "Escapee"

thats crazy i never heard of a show doing this before

i have only started to watch this show and its awesome im on episode 5

hmm it's a good idea to reflect the change but then.. it's kinda a bit dodge changing names... I think it should at least keep one of the words in the current title in.. ie Prison.... or maybe Prison Break: "new title here"

I believe to have read something that the most likely candidate title for the new season was going to be "Manhunt"

Anyway, doesn't matter to me what fox is going to call it, I'll watch even if the new title would be "Michael Scofield and his gang of jolly escapees"

yep prison break suits it just fine...are there are some idiot's that wouldnt know it was a follow up show if it changed its name...(yep there are some people that dumb)
