heh..even though I come from israel, fair to say that I like NZ the same as israel...there are disadvantges and advang...its really huge topic that I cant just bable on about...
sufice to say that I like them both the same level...

Our school system is different in different provinces.  Here in Ontario, we went to Grade 13 if you wanted to go to University & Grade 12 for those who wanted basic high school diploma or wanted to continue to college.  We also have children start school at the age of 4 as long as they turn 5 by December 31st.  In Quebec, which is literally right next door, the child has to be 5 by the end of September 30th to start school.  Their classes go to Grade 11.  If you want to go to University or college, you have to go to CEGEP, which is essentially a couple more years of prep courses for higher education.

I am from Quebec and the way you present it is exactly what it takes. After 11 years you get to CEGEP, wich usually takes 2 more years if you want to pursue at univ. than depending of the diploma (mostly) 3 years. So I guess it also take 16 years to become a professoinnal of something.

And as this process is long, if we base our decision of retarded on the % of citizen with degree, then we're definitely not the best but aren't the dumbest neighter.

Heard a lot of crap from the news of our neighbour (U.S.) so gonna go with them as retarded.

:)  I was born in Montreal & both my brothers started school there.  We moved to Ottawa in the September before I turned 5 (my bday is in November).  Mom had no idea I was supposed to go to school that year until the neighbour asked why I was still at home.  I was in school 2 days later, much to my chagrin.  Both my parents went through high school in Quebec and I still have family that lives in Montreal.  I have an uncle who taught at CEGEP until about 5 years ago when he decided to retire.

But I still refuse to name a most retarded country.  I think there are asses the world over & unfortunately, most of the time, politicians are the worst of the bunch.  I figure it takes an idiot to want to hold public office!!

Evreyone else is ok in my book for crist sake wake up america lets elect a good canadate in 08 and try to help our kids out in schools with their education as for that i think it's alot of new parents fults out their now a days it semes more 20-25 year olds have kids and dont control them or teach them what they need to know but they will let their monster kids run around a store screaming and grabing things off shelvs my god whats going to happen in the next 50 years!

New Zealanders definitely, three reasons

1. "Six" in New Zealand Lingo is pronouced as "Sex", retarded i know but hey, their New Zealanders.
2. Their nothing. I mean nobody gives a shit about Australia - it's population is few and it's far away. But even we, unthought of by anyone in Europe practically don't give a moments notice to NZ, while their national pastime is talking about and immigrating to Australia.
3. Ugh Peace and Calm your my no. 3....had to expect it, i mean you spelt dumb "dum", insult communists (yes i am one) and of course your a New Zealander (Tough break man)
