28, that said, but im sure i can take more if im wearing a cup, i was with a 6 year old today,  and even my girlfriend didnt have a problem picking her up. I would just keep picking up and tossing them till there are none left..... if of course i had to fight children... i wouldnt know why children would be fighting me.. but if 28 kids came running at me to beat me up i would do my best to defend myself.
