"Midway" will feature the new Midway Space Station introduced in the third season episode "The Return, Part 1." The station -- at that time incomplete and open to space -- is located in the vast, empty space between the Milky Way Galaxy (home of Earth) and the Pegasus Galaxy (home of Atlantis). It is the midway point on a traveler's  journey along the intergalactic gate bridge, where the transition is made from the Pegasus gate network to the Milky Way system.

# "After taking time off to do a little fishing, Carl is heavy into 'Midway.' It'll be great to finally see the big men spar. It'll also be nice to have Kavanagh back.

Christopher Judge will reprise his role of Teal'c in "Midway," which -- based on set pictures posted by executive producer Joseph Mallozzi on his blog -- will see the Wraith finding their way to Earth's Midway space station in between galaxies.

Teal'c will be there too, along with two familiar Earth scientists who have been assigned to Midway: Dr. Lee (Bill Dow) and Kavanagh (Ben Cotton). Lee will appear earlier in Season Four; Kavanaugh was last seen in Season Two's "Critical Mass."

Guess Who that one is???? :) http://bp1.blogger.com/_bu0vVgPPyEs/RkpEw-liIaI/AAAAAAAADPs/Voqtc7jP5rI/s1600-h/DSC05040.JPG

When I talked to Joe Mallozzi he said the fans have always wondered in a fight between Ronon and Teal'c, who would win. So this episode sort of addresses that.Damn fine episode. Teal'c and Ronon kick mucho Wraith ass -- when they're not beating the crap out of each other." Cheesy

Colonel Carter, concerned that Ronan's temper will explode under intense cross-examination, asks an old friend to travel to Atlantis to serve as his mentor -- Teal'c, of the Jaffa. But Ronon, insulted by the implication that he can't handle himself, makes no effort to befriend Teal'c and their stay on the Midway station, en route to Earth, does little to improve the situation. Unbeknown  to anyone, a plan by the Wraith to invade the Midway station is about to be initiated

Below the cut are screencaps from MGM’s video with Jason Momoa and Jerry Penacoli of EXTRA. jasontalks about Ronon, doing stunts, and his tattoo. Contains spoiler footage from both “Quarantine” and “Midway" episodes of Stargate Atlantis. I capped a few "Midway" shot and put them at the end of the post...

Guess what Jerry was Famous for around the mid 80's :)

Cast changes on Stargate Atlantis season 5 (spoilers, maybe)  Tongue  Cheesy

As stated in the SciFi press release, Amanda will guest star on Atlantis’s fifth season - but the exact number of appearances by Colonel Carter will be wholly dependent  on Amanda’s availability and the types of stories we have in the works. Still, Carter will be one of a number of familiar faces that will be popping up in the Pegasus Galaxy in season 5 - including a new commander. Remember way back, when I said we had considered a handful of possible candidates for the command position at the beginning of season 4? Well this person made that short list then, and we’re VERY excited about his/her/its(?) addition to our cast of regulars. As for who it is and what other little surprises we have in store…head on over to the SciFi site Monday morning and start refreshing.

I know for some fans, this is bad news. They may watch the show predominantly for her, but for me, it's good news. I never felt that the writers properly utilized Carter. She was a good character for the most part on SG1, yet when she came over to SGA, it was like, uh, huh? I'd honestly prefer a character/actor who can devote their time to the show, and not be off part of the season (or half, really, in this case) doing another project.

However, on the bad side for everyone... constant cast changes. I suppose as long as the key people (Sheppard, McKay, Ronon, Teyla) stay put, I'll be pretty happy, but the constant changing of cast, pretty much for new good reason (I mean, really, did blowing up Beckett really help the show? I think not).

I'm trying to think who might be the new commander....

Mitchell? Don't think so...
Daniel? Don't think so as it's not his forte and he'd go nuts
Landry - perhaps
Caldwell - one can hope

well it was a good episode, better what we have seen since spoils of war.I would really like to think that why these guys don't see this. That these typed of episode is what will grow a fan base and,it would have staying power also.Oh well

The episode was good, with all the fighting going on.I see Tea'lc was holding back from hiting ronan with the sticks True just blocking only.and when it started Mano a Mano tEAL'C HAD THE BEST SHOT.Teal'c is the winner there :)

I guess they will have to use gDO again even in this Gate system, with a Iris block, either by Goa'ld shield or Asgard preventing anything from coming true.

What do you think..Rodney is a ass again thinking that no one can hack or break his system.Well guess what everything that is man made can be over come.Todd there i wonder what he was going to do with that info. They better hurry up.Also do they know where Earth is then??
