The movement is what makes them notice tv.  Hobbes liked action.  He wasn't fond of a lot of dialogue (typical male!! :rofl3:).  When we first moved into our house, our tv was placed lower down than in our apartment and he noticed it for the first time.  Back then he was about 2 years old.  He loved it when my hubby would watch the cablecast which was a channel that had news run across the screen in teletype fashion.  He would sit in front of the tv & would be like watching a ping pong game: right, left, right, left.  He also loved being on top of the tv & he would watch it upside down!!!  rolling

Sure.  We bought him a videotape of birds and he loved it.  But he'd only watch it if I sat in front of the tv with him.  :rofl3:
