This story contains MINOR SPOILERS for upcoming episodes of "Heroes."

The connections between the Star Trek franchise and "Heroes" has been so strong that a special launching the current season of the NBC show actually addressed it.

From George Takei (and the identification number of the USS Enterprise on his license plate) to Nichelle Nichols to Zachary Quinto taking on the role of Spock in the upcoming "Star Trek" movie, a Trek fan can't even begin to scratch the surface.

But Tim Kring and company surprised fans tonight with yet another face from Star Trek past: Michael Dorn.

In the closing minutes of Monday's episode, Dorn sat in the shadows of a limousine talking to Adrian Pasdar's Nathan Petrelli to kick off the upcoming "Fugitives" chapter of the show that begins in February. Before Petrelli walked out of the limo, he addressed Dorn as "Mr. President."

But does this mean a big role for the actor in the second half of Season 3?

Maybe. Dorn brought his character of Worf over to "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" from "Star Trek: The Next Generation," which helped give a boost to the ratings of that show in the late 1990s, and now without makeup, the voice of the world's most popular Klingon was definitely recognizable.

"Heroes" returns the day after the Super Bowl on NBC.

Dorn turned 56 last week and also is voicing the upcoming video game "Saints Row 2."

So Son of Mooge is going to be here too huh??? What powers will he have???    GTO

He's not that great of an actor imo.  It won't make me take a look at the show.
