The first episodes were a good start for the new season altougth the "resurrection" of Tony is a bit exaggerate. This was not a surprise (due to spoilers) but the way it was done is simply too convenient. Just because Jack didn't saw him dead mean he still can be alive.
Beside this the story seem to be good for the moment, infiltrating the gov. systems, plausible, the colonel of Juma running the operation, still plausible according to Redemption miniseries, for the money to finance it let assume this point will reveal itself during the season.
The Bureau infiltrated by the terrorists (as Juma's group don't seem to have a name) is predictable and fit with the Tony knowing the way to counter terrorists, so how to effectively do the opposite.
The new characters are still to be know but Renee seem to be the one replacing Jack like when he was a lonewolf in previous seasons.
For the president, as always, a good and credible character.
With all this the bases are good let's just hope that like in the 6th this won't collapse with absurdity.
(only saw the 2 first episodes at this moment)
Everything wrap up well and is link together, as I figured after seeing the 703 and 704. Money come from Juma's diamonds and is used to pay the CIP module.
How do you think the serie will evolve?

Not so bad 'till now, wonder how the the Bureau will manage to save Renee if Jack and Tony recover her fully.
But according to the preview, the time running out will force an action from Dubaku.
For the president's husband I'd say sooner or later he's dead.
If this happen this will also made an other political storyline, and the connection from the body guard and Juma will surely be good to follow.
So when d'you think Bill's team will get in contact with the president? Before or after an attack?
for my part got to say that in order to add some extra tension and action an attack on US should happen.

706-707 haven't got time last week to discuss... anyway I seem to be talking to a wall.
Gonna get direct to the point:
What do you think Dubaku will do to the prime gentlemen?
Now this is his only leverage against the president and the season is only beginning, what the writers have in mind to keep 24 alive and, mostly, credible.
Whatever it is let's hope it won't be like the 6th, great start then a few slow episodes and sh**ty regain of strenght in the plot to end.

yeah, 24 is a bit erratic. Untill we watched the episode.
We finally learn who was the mole in the Bureau,
the agent surely cover his traces well since the use of a terminal (a few epz sooner) in the server room wasn't to land his wife's plane, as it appear.
As nearly every single character has a purpose in the show, I wonder what is the president's daughter use.
Hope she'll do something better than just appear there.
Dubaku backing his ass by blackmailing was predictable but well done, let see what comes next with his (ex)girlfriend.
It seems we'll found slowly, person by person, who is and who isn't working for Juma/Ike.

I must admit, this has been all over the place im wondering where it can take us next. Unless dubaku kidnaps that girl and flies her to sengala and jack steals an F-22 Raptor and they have a dog fight, lol. It should be interesting to see where it goes, Im sure it will have something to do with them taking in that woman who was mirroring cloe's terminal as that guy certainly did a good job of framing here. I cant wait till the next 1  |

We can say for sure that the storyline with Dubaku is nearly over.
Nice try for the guy in the Bureau to cover himself if it wasn't that Chloe found a backup.
As for the next phase with the corrupt agent in the governemen:
"Units in place, plan on schedule" This assure's us of a good action sequences coming for sure.
I think that the Symbolic target will be the white house just because Burnett and his boss, the senator, are going to meet the pres. there.

We got good base for the next week, a lot of hostages and the pres. hope the thing gonna be credible...
or throw the writers to write superhero movie not 24!

So, after the 2/3 of the serie it seem we're in the last struggle of the story.
At least taking assault on the Starkwood facility seem huge.
The bureau seem out of the picture, will the army get in and give us another great battle? Hope so.
As it's been a while since the last good and intense exchange of firepower happen.

Yeah also happen to me a month ago. I still haven't recover the data on the HDD that failed but at least my computer is back on with HDD in Raid now, more safe.
For the 18th, wow what an intense one.
[spoiler]Never saw coming the storyline with Tony.
It now happen he work for him and haven't regain any trust in the governement when he was helping the FBI.
So he did only because it doesn't matter if Juma was arrest or not, but the master piece is destroying almost every bioweapons but saving a few canister for him. To wich purpose? got to admit I dunno . But for the motivation we already got some hints about it.
He wants to get revenge on the gov. that let him down, but what can he possibly demand ? [/spoiler]
Can't wait to see where this is going, this season is really better than the last one. This time everything is logic and relate.
