So the final episode of Battlestar Galactica has come and gone. Did you think it ended with a bang or a whimper? I think it was a combination of the two myself. Here's the place to let folks know what you think. DISCUSS!First hour Was wonderful. Cylons fighting cylons, weapons fire, ramming ships, blood and guts, etc.
Second hour SUCKS big time.
What was Starbuck, what's the deal with Daniel, where's D'anna, were imaginary Six and Baltar truly angels, why were there two Earths,
I thought that the Starbuck part was disappointed was a bit doggy with a few of the resolutions and explanations,Starbuck does a Gandalf the White? Meh.
The rest of the Cylon Colony did they die??? Also what happen with the Metal one's i know they were giving the base ship, but where did they go,how did they develop.I belief that there should have been more time spend on this, instead of what happen with Adama not getting a job,and Roslin sleeping with her student.
I had a big problem with, was the 150,000 year skip to the future. They didn't have to beat us over the head with that,I think we all got it, and I think the show would have ended very poignantly if they had faded out after Adama says his finals farewells to Roslin on that hilltop. That is how I will try to remember the finale.
And one more beef... why the heck does Adama leave his son??? What on earth was the point of that? Aren't they the only family each other has?
The most touching moments were in the first hour. Roslyn's goodbye to the doctor was the most poignant. Enough for now. GTO
