Good news, everyone!
Jimmy's Forum is back! With a bang! And a cherry on top!
Despite severe hosting problems and a massive database loss in spring that could very well have been the end of our community we've finally managed to get Jimmy's Forum back online with the help of some very dedicated users - kudos to you, you know who you are!. They gathered the old staff together and we've managed to recreate the forums on a new server.
After a lengthy period of beta testing over the summer we're proud to inform you that the new and improved Jimmy's Forum can be found under the same url as before:
http://jim-e.net/forumsJust like before our relaunch it features all kinds of TV shows plus a nice and friendly community. If you've been a member before then you may log in with your old user data.
However if you've joined after 2005 (yeah, we know... but the only database backup available that worked was 4 years old...
) then you'll have to re-register.
Currently we don't have open signups but we have an invite system in place - send me a PM here at Thebesttrek to get one (please state your desired user name plus a valid email address - no throwaway addresses like mailinator - plus your old user rank if you've been a member before), then follow the link to the registration page and reply to our rules topic to (re)gain access.
