This announcement is about TheBestTrek's Hide Feature
Ultimately it is up to the poster if he or she wishes to hide the contents - however i'd recommend only using the hide feature for private server links - thus if the private links are posted on another site we have a list of who saw the file
Anyway here's a walkthrough
- This one is based on posts - for instance if you want only people with 20 or more posts to view the file you use this one
This one is based on usergroups, for instance if you wanted only Fleet Admirals to see you would hit the "STG" button and type in "10" without quotes
If you want only Fleet Admirals and Captains to see it you would hit "STG" and type in "10, 11" without quotes as Captains are "11" and Fleet Admirals "10"
This one is simple and the one i would recommend using - the user has to simply click this
once to show the hidden contents
This one is where a user has to reply to the topic to see the hidden contents
To be honest i know it's complicated, but it does offer you all the options you want for hiding contents
