Sorry about this, how ever i will combine three topics into one. GTO

The 10th Doctor wishes his successor all the best for when his series airs

"Doctor Who's" star may have said goodbye to the Tardis, but he still feels a deep pang of sadness at leaving what he describes as "the best job in the world."

However, the series is in good hands with Steve Moffat taking over control of the show and introducing a new Doctor for an even newer generation of fans.

"I'm really excited for him," Tennant said in an interview with Newsbeat. "But I remember how exciting it was starting out on this kind of a journey -- and nerve-wracking and a bit overwhelming but just such a kick. So I'm jealous he's [Matt Smith] going through that now but he's brilliant and it couldn't happen to a nicer chap."

Tennant's final chapter on the series is only a handful of episodes away and, according to current showrunner Russell T. Davies, they will be a tearful experience leaving fans reaching for the Kleenex.

What gives these episodes such a dramatic impact is in part the fact that fans are well aware these are his last adventures and so the series can go in directions it hadn't previously considered.

"You can only tell the story of a character dying once," he explained. "It allows you to go to places you haven't quite been before. It allows you to tell types of stories that you can't do when it's an ongoing series. It allows it to be bigger and more epic, and sadder and wilder, and the stakes are just that bit higher."

David Tennant's final "Doctor Who" episodes are set to air in early November and Christmas on BBC, and a schedule yet to be determined on BBC America. "Waters of Mars" will air on BBC America in December.

Moffat: Matt Smith Will Not Disappoint
New season has been given a look and feel similar to the 'Doctor Who' movies

The jury is still out on whether Matt Smith will be accepted as the new Doctor.

On the one hand, David Tennant is a name that has become firmly established in the cultural vernacular that anyone following in his footsteps would struggle. Then again, Matt Smith is just one of many changes being made to the show which is now in the hands of Steve Moffat, a man that many fans consider to be the best writer of the re-vitalised series.

According to the Daily Telegraph though, Moffat believes that Smith has everything it takes to be just as big as Tennant, and perhaps even bigger. The new showrunner for the long running series has promised plenty of "joyous moments" and "heartbreak" in the new season when it begins its run in Spring, 2010.

"He's [Smith] all the things you'd expect, including ancient", Moffat said. He's "someone you can't take your eyes off."

When the series returns, Smith will be joined by Scottish actress Karen Gillan as his new companion and the two will be traveling in a slightly updated Tardis – one that was inspired by the Peter Cushing movies. During their new and exciting travels, the duo also will encounter some familiar faces ... including the intriguing character of River Song (played by Alex Kingston).

Despite the massive vote of confidence, the swirl of popularity that surrounds Tennant's iconic portrayal as the Doctor is one that will either propel Smith onto great things on the series or drown him completely. And Moffat himself feels the same thing in the wake of Russel T. Davies who will end his run as showrunner following the regeneration.

"You do feel [the] pressure," Moffat said. "What if I broke Doctor Who? That would be a tragedy."

'Doctor Who' Mars Special Hits BBCA In December
It's not quite the Christmas finale, but previews say it'll be a good one

British audiences will get to watch it in just a couple weeks, but American audiences will only have to wait a month to see the "Doctor Who" special "The Waters Of Mars."

It will air on BBC America on Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. ET, starring David Tennant and British stage and screen actress Lindsay Duncan, who has appeared in shows such as "Rome." Duncan plays Adelaide, who BBC describes as The Doctor's "cleverest and most strong-minded companion."

The special is one of a handful that were planned for 2009 instead of a fifth season, all marking Tennant's final outing with the sonic screwdriver. This particular outing puts The Doctor on Mars along with Adelaide and Ed, played by Peter O'Brien.

The episode is written by outgoing showrunner Russell T. Davies and Phil Ford, and was directed by Graeme Harper.

The remaining episodes starring Tennant will air over the holiday season, although BBC America has yet to announce airdates for those episodes. They will be broadcast over Christmas on BBC in the United Kingdom.

Not only will "Waters of Mars" hit BBC America, but it also will come out on DVD and Blu-ray following the holidays. It will debut on store shelves Feb.2 pricing between $15 and $30. A five-disc set featuring "The Next Doctor," "Planet of the Dead," "Waters of Mars" and the two-part finale also will be available beginning at $50.

Well i hope you all will injoy this. Also leave a comment please.  GTO
