Battlestar Galactica,' 'Lost,' 'Heroes' get big DVR jumps as well

Some people still may not like the new "Stargate: Universe" on Syfy, but they're still watching it.

On their DVRs that is.

The show, centered around the Ancient-built Destiny which stops randomly at different stargates around the galaxy, has been jumping nearly 47 percent in its audience when DVR numbers are added each week, bringing its total average viewership to 2.6 million. That ranks it No. 5 among the shows with the biggest timeshifted boosts.

SGU has come under quite a bit of scrutiny by fans of the original two Stargate series, but has attracted a somewhat new audience, possibly picking up some of Syfy's "Battlestar Galactica" fans that have been looking around for a new space-based show to hold their attention.

Speaking of Adama and the Ragtag Fleet, Syfy's other juggernaut, "Battlestar Galactica," leads the pack of shows that gained the most numbers when DVRs were factored in. It had an almost 60 percent increase in viewers with the DVR numbers. The other genre shows that have significant increases with DVRs are "True Blood," "Heroes," "Sanctuary," and the now deceased "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" series.

"Stargate: Universe" has already earned a second season, so fans of the new series will have something to keep watching on Friday nights.

i hope they will look at this typed of looking at the shows from now on.Hell we all are very busy, instead of staying home to watch this. One could be working of going out for dinner, dancing, drinking, man and woman looking (hunting ) :)  who got time for this watching please tell me.Which of us here knows that if they have a date with assure expectation that they are going to get some that night, will for go this,to sit at home to watch make belief????..Well i will have to admit that i did this "ONCE"  She was sweet chocolate Tight and perky everywhere   Primal Shadow  .But  Noooooo i had to watch Mohammad Ali fight.Well she was pissed, after that she played hard to get  hello  and i said Flox that i don't need this.Cocky.....but i was out of that.shit curse that Mohammad ali fight.  gto
