Ever wondered just what the heck those cryptic symbols are that appear on the backs or undersides of electronic devices, including your computer, cell phone and television?
Those FCC, UL, CE, and other marks you might see generally are stamps of approval by product safety organizations and various countries' regulatory agencies. Some marks are voluntary while others have to appear on the product for it to be sold legally in a particular nation.
