Captain Jack Harkness reveals he's made a fatal error, in a new featurette for Torchwood: Miracle Day. Here's an exclusive first look at one of the new character-centric featurettes being unveiled for the fourth season of Doctor Who's edgy spinoff.

We've never seen Captain Jack look quite so shaken... even at the end of Children of Earth.

There are other Torchwood character featurettes going online around this time, and they seem to be part of a new viral marketing push for the ten-episode miniseries, which launches on Starz on July 8. Who do you think Esther Drummond is? What sort of conspiracy would be able to put a stop to death simultaneously, all over the globe? And why do you think Captain Jack looks so scared? I guess we'll know the whole story soon enough.

Actually, this is an American production. Which makes it a bit suspect, in my opinion, as to whether or not it will be worth watching. ( They love to cock things up allot. )  egypt_dance

I think the point here, surely, is that we're all united in being pissed off that america constantly pulls this shit where people outside of the states just can't view anything. So it seems that the UK and the US are united in their fear of sharing media.  One word???? Proxy!!!!!!!  Angry vorlon "We were always here"

Jack seems to have gotten a bit more "defined". He was looking a bit soft in the UK shows.

Hollywood does that -- look at Ricky Gervais.
