who or what is HJSplits?

OK m8.. I'm in a silly mood.. BUT I also wonder //

do U ever hear of GOOGLE ???
generally whenever some1 sez sumthin i don't know about in computers of whatever. I put that term in Google and presto .. in seconds I can pretend I am an expert ... LOL

// don't b mad at me. I'm trying 2 teach U how 2 figure stuff out.. and while it's simple . U missed it... so.. go 4 it..

enter HJSplit into google find the program
DL it..
Extract it
then put the *.exe in your program files section in a folder named
Quote
HJSplit v2.2

then double click any of the *.001 files
when windows ask which file browse to the folder & the *.exe u just put there.
tell Windoz to ALWAYS open that type of file with that app

now when U click 001 files.. HJSplit opens

PS what is it ?
it's the program that SPLIT those files >.. LOL // of course !!

now u going 2 use it 2 join them

-->> NOTE; I told him 2 use Google as i thought he was being lazy not to look 4 it & he needs 2 learn 2 use it.

BUT as this is a Tutorial. the purpose is to teach.. thus

DL HJSplit here:

yeah.. as I told Nikon.. its called Old Age.. I'm 56 ..almost 57 .. and find that grumpy ole man.. is a reality .. drat.. LOL

Or in more correct terms "smart ass ole man"... LOL

the worst part 4 me.. is that I started in computer biz in 1969 working 4 a main frame company. and now all the guys that stayed with it are rich, and I somehow am very poor..  so makes me feel pretty dumb sometimes.

works w/ winrar as well. quick easy simple. no downloading something speical.

right click, properties. opens w/ set to winrar and ur golden.

note, google is ok, but 99% of the time when u see a unknown extention, winrar opens it.. expeically for downloads.

Thank you for ur tutorial Dane, but if u use Totalcommander (file manager) u can also split or merge files, even if u splited it in HJsplit u can merge that files in TC >> select file.001>menu file>merge files>Done!

btw Do not think about past^^
