What would the Chinese do to/with Jack?, sub thread - sortof

Considering the fact that we discussed this in the time period ep thread, I think a sub thread about this subject should be made and thus discussed. Here it is.

When the Chinese guy told Jack in season finale that he was 'Too valuable to kill' what does this mean that theyre going to do with Jack? I've been thinking about it:
- I thought they might use Jack as an agent for their country, but then I realised that Jack would never do that.
- Then I thought that the Chinese may use Jack as leverage against the US in return fopr captured agents etc, but then thought that the US would not sacrifice anything so important just to save Jack.
- Then I thought that maybe the Chinese want to use Jack as an undercover agent in the US, which would make an interesting storyline, but then realised that he'd never do that either.
- So the only option left is that theyre going to torture him for information, which I really dont want to be true but think is the most realistic possibility. If this is true it means that series 5 is going to be nasty in places as we know Jack doesnt break easily, and so the torture is going to have to be extreme...

Any thoughts?

they promised him a remote prison.. no one ever knowing where he was,, his daughter never knowing what happened to him..
 
his knowledge of trade craft (spy arts).. enemy & friendly agents is very valuable to them.
 
as he's said before "the longest day of my life".. is about 2 b the rest of his life.. until he escapes. and even then , he'd have 2 have something on china so that they don't grab him again or his daughter

Jack is one of the high ranking officer of CTU. That's why he is valuable. Maybe the chinesse will torture him for info. Just like in James Bond "Die Another Day".
