Sorry not a bongo but you're getting so close that clothes are starting to smolder. Slightly larger than a bongo. More or less the same colouring. Same kind of stripes but thinner. Horns have more twists in them. Here's a pic of a bongo.  |

Oh well, you have given me the answer.  If not Bongo, then it must be Lesser Kudu (Tragelaphus imberbis) which is very similiar to Bongo.:)  |

Quite correct stbooks although i had the greater kudu male in mind. Here are some pictures of him. Quite magnificent isn't he? Did you know that he's the high jumper amongst wild animals? He'll stand next to a 3 ft (1 meter) high fence and with no run-up, jump over it with as little effort as you would put into stepping into the bath.   OK now it's your turn stbooks. |
