Wasn't up to my expectations at all, really disappointing, i understand why RDM did the whole flashback thing(to show a little combat each segment so people stay watching the television) however it would have been a better episode if the entire fight was at the end, and the entire ep was building up to the point, kat and starbuck get over the differences and kill Scar together, but that didn't happen...in the long run you get better ratings RDM(in case your reading lol) if each episode is made for quality, not ratings

All i can say is,

OMFG what is it with the FLASHBACKS? What happened? It's the third time already.
"48 hours earlier..." WHY? I really don't get it. As you can imagine i don't like it too much. And i totally agree, it would have been far better to show the fight scene all at once at the end. Oh well, i really hope they stop doing that.

Regards,

R.

Yes i also didn't like it. They were jumping back and forth so much one couldn't follow where the heck you are and what is realy happening. I saw this kind of thing in some Firefly episodes as well and there it also just confused you.

I know what you mean, Scar was definitely more confusing than that ep

I liked the episode episode very much. Maybe I watched too much Pulp Fiction style movies so the flashbacks didn't bother me.
Katee's acting was great as always. She really lives the role of Starbuck. A while ago I saw her in the Halloween Resurrection movie and she played her role terrible. And in BSG she's brillant.
The plot was OK. I enjoy that BSG doesn't copy the sometimes too unrealistic character relations in Star Trek. There the two rivals would became the best buddies in the end. In this episode there is still enough room for tension to come.

But I was in a kind of evil mood and hoped she would let her rival die in the space battle.  Cool

Did anybody else think that the entire episode was a huge rip-off of Space: Above and Beyond episodes Never No More & Angriest Angel with the 'abandon all hope' enemy top gun?
