Yep. Tried it and it's awesome. Huge speed drop on "KGET" (comes with KDE) though - the download managers on windows work fine.

Mediafire does rock! (no script for remote upload/download available yet)

how long does it keeps the files prior to deleting due to lack of use?

also people should try turboupload.com
its fast and there is no waiting between files (only 46 seconds) it allows resuming of d/l.
it deletes files that havent been d/l after 30 days

No idea about how long it's hosted - but a week would be enough- then after a week, private server links kick in. Don't know if the uploaders would do that though.

Turbouploads sounds nice. I've no idea about the upload rate of turboupload - need to check table
