So were you all as surprised as I was when we learned that the bad guy of the last seasons was the brother of Jack? Correct me if i'm wrong but his brother was the one of the last season that was manipulating the previous sneaky president?

Yeah I notice that too, this man was in the group manipulating Logan.
He was the leader of the group.
The big surprise for me was to discover he was Jack's brother.

Other interesting thing in this epz, we learn the difference (for the CTU) between questioning and interrogating. Lot more relax and easy to be questionate.
