This is the first that I'd heard of Takei being in "Heroes". He should be good for that serious role. Seems that I remember he was in a movie years ago that he was a very stern Japanese Commanding Office during WW2 and most if not all his lines were in Japanese. Of course that was a movie and not a television series.

Shouldn't matter to his ability to portray the part. I've always thought he was a good actor. It'll be nice to see him move on to something else. :)
