ABC seems to have found its groove with viewers for "Lost," but it's not one that they would care to have.

The one-time hit show for the network earned a 7.6 rating/13 share for the network, finishing well behind CBS' "CSI: NY," which had a 9.3/15 according to Fast National numbers from Nielsen Media Research.

"Lost's" numbers were on par with how the show did last week, which had a 7.6/12. While it may have finished in the dust of CSI, it did beat NBC's "Medium," which earned a 5.4/9.

CBS may have to try something else against "American Idol" on Wednesday nights. The heavily publicized return of "Jericho" finished with a 5.7/9, finishing second ahead of NBC's "Friday Night Lights" (3.7/6), but forcing "Criminal Minds" in the 9 p.m. slot to build on its audience rather than trying to retain it.

For the night, it was no surprise that Fox was the winner with a 17.3/26, with CBS second at 8.2/13. ABC and NBC were tied for third with 4.8/8, but ABC did bring in more viewers, according to Zap2it.

"Lost" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, while "Jericho" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Fast nationals usually provide a snapshot of what Americans are watching by pulling numbers from the top urban markets that includes both live viewing and same-day timeshifted viewing. A rating point generally represents more than 1.1 million households while the share indicates the percentage of televisions turned on that was tuned to the specific program. These numbers typically shift when final ratings are issued.

At least it didn't go down in the ratings.  But that won't matter if it doesn't pick up some more.  Hmmm, they may get rescued sooner rather than later at this rate!
