The plot thickens as we gear up for the remaining few episodes of Fox jail break rush.When we last left PRISON BREAK, the brothers Lincoln and Scofield along with Scofield’s main squeeze Sarah had ditched Secret Service agent turned vigilante Kellerman after getting the file that Sarah’s father had acquired thanks to a little help from the former warden of Fox River.
With only four episodes left to go in what could be the end of the show, PRISON BREAK is slowly building toward a most-interesting season ending finale. Will the brothers get away with it? What side of the fence will Mahone come down on once all the pieces of the chess board have been played? Will the president get assassinated before she can pardon them?
“Wash” was interesting for a variety of reason, it re-introduced us to certain characters in the show we haven’t seen in quite a while and it continued this slow burn toward what is sure to be a whopping end. With the brothers now in possession of a tape that could set them free will they be able to get it in the right hands before someone either dies or those helping them are killed? That is the main plot which will dominate the remaining episodes of the season.
When we started season two of Fox’s jail break express we had eight escapees – the Fox River Eight. If C-Note is indeed dead (which at this point is a big unknown given that this show is the king of twists and loops) we are down to just half left with the brothers, Sucre and the nasty, evil T Bag – who continues to do the best among all of the escapees with the money, the almost freedom and more.
While “Wash” was a decent episode, it appears as if next week is going to be a blockbuster and the remaining three episodes a rollercoaster ride full of great drama as we get to see the fates of the final escapees, who will live and who will die and what looks to be like an interesting confrontation with not only Bellick and T Bag but Bellick and Sucre as well.
The most interesting question remains, however, with the show as popular as it is. How will they be able to bring it back if they solve everything this season? There are a number of different possibilities including the brothers getting involved with breaking someone else out of prison in a far away land, working for the government in some black ops operation or the best scenario of them all, they become the new A-TEAM and if you can find them maybe they can help.
