LOL  Flame, hon, it's a masterpiece.  Especially since I have no idea what a bezier curve is & I am incapable of making art.  :)

actually positive people live shorter lifes (happier but shorte) pasimistic people live longer but are alot more willing to die

LOL  Actually, the studies I've heard about said the opposite.  Has to do with the fact that pessimists tend to be angrier.  Anger raises blood pressure.  And that is a killer.

good work on the hour glass... a small suggestion though - continue that light reflection all way to the top of the glass structure to get a complete 3D effect :) make it duller as you go up but visible... i guess thatz it...
