Banner Competition

Ok then Gals/Guys,

We are having a competition where you can design a banner fo this theme that will go where the crumby "THEBESTTREK" text goes that i did . It can be anything scifi related as long as it looks good in the theme. If you have made one save it in .jpg (keep the original simply as .jpg has the quota changed so you an upload bigger files) and upload it as an attchment.

After a fair few entries have been entered we will ave a poll where anyone can vote for the winning banner. There will be a promotion for the winner unless your a VIP / Ambassador / staff .

Nykon is there a way you could get your old banner, chop out one of the three ships and resize to fit??

I've had a go at producing a banner. I've saved the file as a jpg, and it's 1.24 MB in size. The only problem is, I don't know how to upload it as an attachment.

Could someone please give me some really easy and simple instructions on how to upload this thing? Please also remember, the instructions will need to be along the lines of "uploading for dummies", because the stuff you take for granted is usually a mystery to me.

upload it to a free host like imageshack      http://imageshack.us/

and post the link it gives you when its finished uploading :)

OK, here's my best effort at producing a banner. I didn't realise how much time it was going to take up creating this thing. Oh well, at least I know what Photoshop and PaintShop are now . . .

Really nicely done, Green.  Now if only you'd be able to see that much detail when it's smaller.

Its a good attempt, but seems a little dull to me, try making it a little bit smaller (got to fit where THEBESTTREK text is) and try adding some more colour, and then it should look pretty swish.
