A fellow I knew that worked at an automotive plant said never buy a car that was made on a Monday or Friday. The reason being the workers on Mondays were hung-over from the weekend and on Fridays they were just throwing cars together to finish up for the week. Whether it's true or not I don't know?

Sorry to take so long to get back to this Val. Yes - the parts were very heavy and I made it a point they landed in his lap. They were covered in oil too Tongue Cheesy

LOL NP about the time.  I'm just happy to hear the reply!  Cheesy  Hope the suit was really expensive....d'oh he's a lawyer, of course it was!  Cheesy

As for that theory about day of the week, I've heard that one too.  I think that in October it's not a good month for the manufacture of German cars.  Oktoberfest is beer month.  Cheesy

LOL  I think they mean that you should buy one that was manufactured Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Me, however, will never buy one.  Tongue

So?  I'm helping my life to be better by not buying one.  Besides, we do buy ones that are manufactured here.  It's just that their parent company in in Japan.
